Social Care Contributions Policy Consultation
Sunderland city council is currently considering making changes to the way they financially assess contributions for the care people receive at home and in the community.
They are holding a public consultation exercise from 24th October to 19th December 2011 in order to gain people’s views before any final decisions are made.
The council is reviewing its contributions policies to ensure that it supports recent changes to how social care is provided, namely the introduction of Personal Budgets.
